Thanks sincerely to all who attended my Create Your Own Accessory Event this past weekend at Frog Hollow. The event was a great success with lots of folks stopping by to try their hands at glass jewelry making. Plenty of materials (and help from Eye and I Glass’ next generation!) were available as seen in the photos below. Enjoy!

Come visit the Frog Hollow Church Street Gallery–Saturday, September 24th, 1-4pm–and meet me, Eric Nelson of Eye and I Glass!
I’ll be bringing handmade mosaic glass chips down to the gallery to give customers an in-person chance to see and take part in the assembly and design process. Frog Hollow will provide a mini “workshop-style” setting in the front window where you’ll be able to play with a “treasure trove” of mosaic chips to mix and match, rearrange and custom–fit to your liking a new barrette or brooch that you can truthfully say you helped to create! All necessary materials will be on-site and there’s no additional design fee beyond the retail cost of the item!
Just a quick note to let readers know I’ll be at Frog Hollow Friday, September 2nd, from 5-8pm. The event is free and open to the public, so stop by and say Hi! if you’re in the area.
Tom Merwin’s flame inspired abstract paintings become the back drop to our September glass exhibit which focuses on torch worked glass techniques. Featuring work by Frog Hollow Artisans Eric Nelson of Eye and I Glass, Chris Sherwin of Sherwin Art Glass and Michael Egan of Vermont Glass Works the exhibit showcases an assortment of glass forms providing a variety of uses from decorative earrings to sculptural paperweights.
This year’s annual Sidewalk/Seconds Sale on Church St. in front of Frog Hollow was a huge success! Thanks to all who came out!
